[Plugin: Events Manager] ical feed is loading copies and copies of each event…

    Hi,

    I’m using the mydomain.com/events.ics feed to retrieve events in my Google Calendar. It was working perfectly fine until today… Each event is now showing up tens and tens folds, and is still growing every hour.

    My plugin version is the last one available (5.4.2), and nothing has been changed in my system since days (except Firefox updated to Version 21 yesterday, but the problem is the same with Chrome for instance)…

    Any idea?

  • Hi Christophe,

    There’s a new version of EM out now (5.4.3), which has some iCal updates and fixes in it. If you upgrade does that fix the problem?

    And thx for your help.

    I have just updated EM to 5.4.3 but the problem still remains… (I have emptied my cache before checking). I have tried to uncheck the calendar in Google Calendar, then check it again, but no change.

    My domain is bananierbleu.com and the ical feed is then bananierbleu.com/events.ics

    Maybe you can try by yourself and see whether you’ve got the same problem or not…

    Hi,

    Will you trust me if i say that this morning, everything is back to normal… I dont understand a damn thing about what happened…

    Don’t know what to think about that except that it’s better like this. Or maybe emptying the cache was not enough yesterday, and the nightly reboot of the computer finally did it.

    I will mark the topic as resolved and hope it won’t come back.

    Hey Christophe,

    If you’re checking on google calendar, then the ics doesn’t update itself immediately, but every few hours. that’d explain the delay.
