Did you try to check the translation files in includes/langs?

Yes, I did (ofcousre).

Almost everything is in dutch but there are several lines (mainly on add event page) that remain english. These lines are translated to dutch, so thats what’s bothering me

try checking the template file placeholder/event-editor.php

Good chance that the dutch translation isn’t up to date with the latest pot file as per – https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/translating
