[Plugin: Events Manager] Native wordpress gallery

I figured that it would be possible to add a native wordpress gallery using the shortcode [gallery] in an event, however a javascript error is thrown after you save the event and try to edit the gallery.

Any thoughts on how to fix? I assume perhaps a reference to a javascript file is missing, though you may have some other ideas.
