[Plugin: Events Manager] php snippet on single event page?

  • hey out there i just want to add a php snippet to output on a single event page.

    1. the facebook like button… i want to call <?php echo wpfblike(); ?> to be output under the notes of a single event page.

    2. if its possible i want to add a comment field under the facebook like button.

    the idea…. would be great if a visitors know how many like the event and possibly join it. but i dont know how or where i must add the php snippet to ouput the facebook like button.

    the comment field isnt that important but i just want to know how i could add it, if there’s a special need.
    so if you can activate the option (as a attr tag) so you can turn it of or out on each event… would be to my benefit ??

    ps. after hours of searching and reading trough the tutorials and documantation i’m not able to figure out how to do this.

    in addition i just got an other idea…

    i have an recurrent event, for which i have built a page with link in my main menue. so i dont wont it to be shown additionally in the events list.
    how can i exclude an event to be shown in the events list?

    hey i know its very much i want to do….

    is there a possibility to get various event lists? for now theres just one table with all events… but i want to have severel categories.

    this how figured it out for example:
    i mark special events upcoming blue on the event calendar
    this special events now should be shown in the special events table as a list.

    normal events or f.e. recurrent events i want to mark yellow and they should be listet in a several table on the events list page.

    hope everyone get it wat i want to do ??

    I think this is where you can use ‘catagories’ (blue/yellow) and a template file to get it displaying correctly.

    I’m very new to EM though so don’t quote me!

    I came to this topic because I’m looking to put social links on my single events pages like you described in your first post.

    Let us know if you find a solution. At the moment every ‘single event’ page sends the main ‘events list’ link to facebook rather than individual event page link.

    I used the #_EVENTURL placeholder to fill URL field in the facebook like button’s code.

    I pasted the code straight into the Single Event Format field in EM setting and it works fine (displaying after my #_NOTES).

    No PHP alterations.
