    it’s a case of adding dates to the rss tempalte

    If that is the issue about Outlook not accepting the Feed, then I just stumbled over the same issue.

    BTW, what is the following for:

    <?xml version='1.0'?>
    <rss version="2.0">
      <channel>
        <title>Astronomy Club - Events</title>
        <link>https://blah.de</link>
        <description>We blah... - Events</description>
        <docs><strong>https://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss</strong></docs>
        <generator>Weblog Editor 2.0</generator>

    https://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss ??

    Davide did that, been there for years now. was working, no complaints, so didn’t touch it.

    if you can tell me why I should remove it, I will ??

    It’s fine to keep the “docs” linkin to the only unoffical RSS standards page that seems to exist until now.
    Generator is just extra weight if no one objects ??

    Again, is this issue about the Outlook not being able to read the RSS feed ? We had similar issues with feeds around the world not being recognised by Outlook 2007.
    Worpress feed works and uses good Atom RSS format.

    IE complains:
    This feed cotnains errors. Internet Explorer will try t updating this feed again later.
    But it does not say WHAT is the error….typical MS ??
    It is just my conclusion that this causes the Outlook to not accept the feed as it uses Internet Explorer as a web engine internally.

    Differences I saw from request level:
    EM sends Content-length and connection keep alive headers

    Odd

    i’ll have a look at this at some point, since the w3 RSS validator doesn’t validate, will work towards passing at least that test.

    I’ve fixed the RSS validation issues yesterday.

    Eggi1972 your issue is different (try to see if it’s a theme conflict first). please start another topic for different questions.
