[Plugin: Events Manager] ran into a strange error message

Here’s what I did:
On the events seach page, I selected today’s date from the first date picker and inadvertently failed to select another date second date picker.
I pressed the search button and the screen went blank.
I pressed the back button and tried to correct my search query by putting two dates in the date picker — one in the first field and one in the second.
Thats’s when I got this error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 89 bytes) in /home1/superla1/public_html/dominionofnewyork/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/classes/em-object.php on line 409
Confused, I returned the event search page with the back button and entered the dates again. This time it worked.
Anyone run into this problem? If so, what was the culprit? How did you solve it?
