[Plugin: Events Manager] Translation to Chinese

    Hi,

    I’d like to contribute a Chinese translation of this plugin. I have grabbed the .pot file from the plugin’s language folder, but this contains every string, both admin and “public”. My priority is to get all of the public text translated initially, and then later focus on translating the admin text.

    Is there a .po file I can use which contains only the public strings?

    Once you’ve translated the file, why not send it over? By doing this you’re helping the community and also making sure your site remains translated when automatically updating the plugin. If you’ve never contacted us before, please use the contact form and let us know that you have a translation for us, we will inform you where to send the translation files

    Yes, I’ve seen that. I was asking if there is a smaller zh_CN.po (or .pot) file available, one that contains only the public strings.

    There are over a thousand strings in the full .pot file. I’d like to prioritise the public ones.

    Hi David, sorry but the pot file can’t be seperated that way. I guess you could possibly do this with poEdit if you generate a pot file with that and delete the admin folder before generating it.

    Hi Omegacoder,

    I have got a partial translation (as I say above, I focused on the non-admin text). Thanks to your prompt, I have just contacted the plugin developers and asked them how to share my .po and .mo files.
