[Plugin: Events Manager] Upload images doesn't work!

I’m having the same issue too. If I click the “upload image” option at the bottom and add the image, it does not show up if you click the event from the calendar.

If I go to the event via the dashboard though, it shows there. It is just not showing on the post that people see publicly. I’ve tried adding and viewing it as an administrator, but it still will not show up. The image is of the right size (both file size and the image size).

this is an old bug, fixed 6 months ago.

i’ll check this out and fix again if this is happening to me. your problems might be different to the above, skooby if it shows in admin, could it be you have css or html issues on your theme? is the url and img tag right on the front-side?

Hey Marcus, you are correct. If we add the image via the “add image” option, it shows in the admin, but not the actual post. I haven’t edited anything on my theme but it’s possible that is the cause. Unfortunately, I want everyone including subscribers to be able to create events, so I can’t just have them embed it in the post, as the add media option is not available for the subscriber role.

so it’s probably something you need to sort out outside events manager

Having the very same issues – I can’t add a file (pdf/doc/ppt) to an event – when I click on the upload media icon (as per prevous c
screenshot from Dani) it goes to the upload screen to upload, lets you choose and upload as per usual. If you then click on insert into post it hen just returns to the event page (event details area) with nothing added – I have looked at the media library and the media appears to be being uploaded to the actual library but will not show in the event?

All used to work fine and this has changed since I updated event manager I am afraid to say – sorry.

Yes can add items to a post no problem and also to a page.

this still works fine for me. leads me to wonder if it’s a plugin conflict?

Have got to the root of the problem and you were correct it was a plug in problem. The conflict was with the slideshow plug in by iThemes. I will contact them and let them know but thanks as always for your expert help.

Hey Marcus, I was coming back to this trying to t-shoot but still having the same issue. I disabled every plug-in I had other than Events Manager, but still having the same issue. The image shows in the admin console, but not in the actual post.

Do you think it could be a CSS issue?

if you’re using thumbnails, worth making sure your includes/thumbnails/cache has read/write permissions
