    Hello,

The visual editor doesn’t work properly with my theme. I’ve read that timymce might be the culprit and unfortunately it’s installed and necessary on my site. For now, I’ve forced the form in html mode, but is there a way to modify this via css? I tried everything with firebug and I still can’t make it work. It basically gives me a transparent text box (no background) and the text is the same color as my page background. So it’s currently not possible to read, but if I could either change the text color or the textbox color, I’d be good to go.

Thanks again for this great plugin!

If this is your theme causing the problem, I would suggest contacting your theme editor about this, or possibly messing with the CSS to fix whatever your theme is doing wrong.

Have you checked for Javascript errors?

Thanks Marcus. Yeah, I went wild with the css mods, but I think I’ll give it another shot. It’s just hard to isolate the problem and I know it’s referring to tinymce which I hear could cause a js clash with events manager. I know that it’s being themed pretty heavilly, but I think the theme’s css is being overruled in this case. I’ll do a js check though. Thanks for the advice.

best way, delete big chunks of CSS, upload, refresh and see if it helps ??
