[Plugin: Events Planner] 1/2 hour time slots?

I’m working with a client who wants to fill every half-hour slot of time for a full year. (17520 slots in a year)
For instance, a person wants to sign up for 1:30am-2:00am on March 3. They will need to know first of all if that slot is available. Second, they will need the ability to add a desicrption of what they are doing during that time slot.
On the other end, we want anybody to be able to browse thru a calendar and see full / empty time slots; and any full time slots should show a description of what’s going on during that time slot.
Will this plugin help us accomplish this?
