Plugin Exist? Image popup & close on click

I am still looking for a plugin (or maybe html code) that will allow me to display a smaller version of photo (like a thumbnail or simply an image constrained by a specific width)… and when the visitor clicks on the smaller immage, the full sized image pops up, and then when clicked again, closes.

I’ve tried WP Fancy Zoom, but like many others, it doesn’t seem to work. Surely there is a way to do this. Help?
