[Plugin: External Videos] i can not select videos by category

Wonderful plugin,
i can not select videos by category to display in page sidebar. the only widget that worked is what ships with the plugin.

More info:
i am using rttheme9 https://themeforest.net/item/rttheme-9-business-theme-5-in-1-for-wordpress/101242 it ships with many widgets.
it includes a widget to display a side bar of categories of posts in a page or post.
using the widget to display “External Video” categories returns : no post found.
i had no problems using the theme widgets with posts generated by other plugins?
Any Ideas?
