[Plugin: External Videos] Videos do not play from website

Hmm… there are a lot of javascripts and css files on that page. It would take a while to debug where the command to overlay the thickbox is overwritten. I’m pretty sure though it has something to do with the thickbox, if that helps.

Well not really, Where is the code for the thickbox? I’m not a code wiz. I would need a play-by-play on how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The thickbox is a javascript library that is packaged with wordpress and produces the overlays. The CSS file for it is at https://mambosauceband.com/wordpress/wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.css and the javascript at https://mambosauceband.com/wordpress/wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.js . My guess is that either the CSS or a JS function is being redefined for the thickbox to have stopped working.

Sorry I couldn’t figure out how to file a bug report in trac for your plugin External-Videos.. doesn’t appear on the component list.

Came across an issue with the query_post_type filter in external_videos.php.. it causes wp_nav_menu to error when trying to view an archive list in archive.php (clicking on a category link).. resulting in no menu.

Great plugin thou.. cant use it until this issue is resolved..

@gnative Do you have a patch? I’d release a new version with a patch. Can’t work on the plugin for the next few weeks though. ??

I’ve made a new release with several bug fixes. Amongst other things it removes some side effects that it had with other plugins. So, these issues are likely fixed.
