[Plugin: EZPZ One Click Backup] Causes 1 and 1 server error

I installed and activated EZPZ. My site is hosted by 1 and 1. I tried the default settings and a one-click backup. 1 and 1 prevented file copying. I set EZPZ to the “alternate” method and tried again. After a very long wait, I got error messages whenever I tried to access any dashboard functions, such as deactivate a plugin. Waiting an hour and trying again gave the same server errors. I closed out the website, then used my FTP program to delete the EZPZ directory from the host. I have gotten no more server errors after that. I’ll try other backup methods.
