    The documentation on this is less than clear, and they’re working on it.

    But the submission process still exists, although I don’t think you have to submit if you’re only publishing to *your* pages and timeline. The submission will be needed if you have other authors who need to post to their timelines and such as well.

    @otto,

    What will this Facebook plug in mean for your plug in? Do you still plan on continuing to update it, or will this plug in replace yours?

    See for yourself on the first line of SFC’s new description:
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/

    At some point, I will stop supporting SFC in favor of the official plugin.

    The documentation for the OG:Actions has been updated:

    The documentation makes sense, but I’m not getting the authentication message within WordPress, so I’m not able to do a test action.

    I don’t see the auth message until I log in as a non-admin user. I can authenticate at that point but none of my test posts appear either on my timeline or that of my site’s FB page. The submission process reports that no posts have been published to that action type.

    I had the same problem not seeing the auth message, but tonight, I made sure to log out of Facebook in my browser (always keep it open) before trying it, and in the boxes where I can tag Facebook friends and pages, it had this message:

    Link your Facebook account to your WordPress account to get full functionality, including adding new Posts to your Timeline and mentioning friends Facebook Pages.

    The first part of the message was linked to a Facebook sign-in prompt that would talk with the Facebook application I created for the site.
