[Plugin: Facebook AWD All in one] Thumbnails not loading on FB 100% of the time…

    Hi there, so I have everything working and it loads the post’s description on FB for my status but then the thumbnail image just does the loader for a while then times out. If you look through the FB developer on my site it has the image in there but it does not make the thumbnail. It’s really strange.

    Do you think this the scripts on my site timing out? Or a permissions issue? Or do you have any suggestions? Thumbnails are pretty much a very crucial element in the posts to FB because they are for bands / events.

    Hi it seems your server do not respond with a good code.

    the facebook debugger returned an error code 503 on the url you provided.
    I think you should fix that before.

    Hey there, thanks for the reply!

    Do you have any recommendations on how to fix this? Or what it could be on the server side? Or if it is how the WP site is setup versus the server itself?

    Any assistance would be great. I didn’t create the site but I am pretty much their go-to for technical support and have been fighting with it for a while.

    You should verify if the robots.txt at the root directory of the WP instance does not contains any restriction for Facebook Robots.

    If you website run in local only, this can be the problem.

    After that i can’t help you anymore as this error come from a server side.
