[Plugin: Facebook Comment Control] Updating Plugin using TortoiseSVN

    Hi,

    I just developed the mentioned Plugin. I uploaded it to the repo using TortoiseSVN. All worked fine so far.

    Today I updated my plugin from 0.1 to 0.2:

    Updating /trunk
    Branch/tag by copy trunk to /tags/0.2

    But it still shows Version 0.1 (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/facebook-comment-control/)

    Can anyone tell me how I tell wordpress extend that I got a new version? (Stable release in readme.txt at /trunk is 0.2)

    please help me. Still don’t know how to fix this.

    The docs aren’t enought. I dont have an console svn…

    Did you do an svn commit after pushing the tag directory?

    Yeah. several times. I updated the screenshots afterwards

    It is a mystery to me, as far as I can tell you have done the necessary. (Presuming you updated readme stable tag, committed changes, then did tag to tags/0.2 from head revision, leaving the current working path as trunk)

    Maybe try making a 0.3 version, commit and do a new tag?

    Once again everything I have done:

    1. SVN Update
    2. Put the new files into trunk (new and override; new readme file with new stable release)
    3. Check for modifications
    4. SVN Commit
    5. “Branch/tag” trunk to /tags/stable-release
    6. SVN Update (to get the new tag to my local repo)
    7. done

    It is version 0.2.2 now but it still displays version 0.1

    Problem was: Had forgotten to change the version tag in the php file…
