  • Can you post the code you were using?

    <center><script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/connect.php/da_DK”></script><script type=”text/javascript”>FB.init(“eb22fb2adccb9f3356b9faf8264388ef”);</script><fb:fan profile_id=”118830091490447″ stream=”0″ connections=”10″ logobar=”1″ width=”300″></fb:fan></center>

    Hmmm…

Try only using the following, with my plugin enabled, and see if it works:

    <center><fb:fan profile_id="118830091490447" stream="0" connections="10" logobar="1" width="300"></fb:fan></center>

Yeah – That worked perfectly aswell.
I got it to work with going into facebook and generate new code for it now.

Thanks!! Now both the fanbox and your plugin works. Success!

Hi thinkswan, we started using your plugin on a couple sites: https://www.badausten.com and https://www.adamsmedia.com. On the blog posts, of course.

Problem is, you can’t see the comments using Firefox, but you can using IE8 or Safari. Take a look at this page in IE8, and you’ll see the single comment from Adri:

    https://badausten.com/emma-interrupted

Now view it in Firefox. You can’t see it! At least I can’t. What’s up? Really, really, really excited about this plugin but need it to work in all browsers.

SixStringSoul, try disabling your sharing plugin for a moment and see if that solves the issue. This plugin is incompatible with certain other Facebook-related plugins at the moment.

I deactivated the Sociable for WordPress 3.0 plugin and now I can’t see the comment from Adri that was posted on https://badausten.com/emma-interrupted in either IE8 or Firefox.

I can see the comments in every single browser, so I’m beginning to think it’s either a browser issue on your side or perhaps lag from the Facebook servers.

Perhaps wait a half hour and try again. I can’t troubleshoot this because it works on my end.

    Hi thinkswan,

    Thanks for this great plugin.

I had the same conflict problem with my Facebook Fanbox and managed to fix it with the “<fb:fan profile_id=””></fb:fan>” trick you gave above.

So, on my posts, both appears correctly. For example: https://www.blog-les-dauphins.com/the-cove/

But the problem is with my home page… No fanbox there! For instance: https://www.blog-les-dauphins.com

Is there a way to fix that? I mean, without finding out how to set up two different sidebars for the home page and the posts!

    Thanks in advance! ??

    Ok, problem solved:
You just have to paste the rest of the code in the theme files (for example index.php, etc.).
Not very simple, but it works.
Still, if you have an easier solution, I’m ready for it! ??

I don′t know if I′m doing somenthing wrong, but I installed the last version of the plugin on a WP 3.0.1 and it′s working fine, except…

How can I implemmet FB loggeg out comments?? Now, just logged in users can comment…

    thinkswan

    (@thinkswan)

    Christiano,

You need to be logged in to Facebook as the administrator of the application you created.

Then, on any comment-enabled page on your website, click the Administer Comments link and check the Allow Anonymous Comments box.

    Great! ??

I have the same problem of not seeing the Anonymous comments option…I’ve looked everywhere for the “Administer Comments” link and I can’t find it…Where is that link?

Hi, I don’t think this was addressed, but if it was, my apologies, and just point me in the right direction. ??

The plug in works wonderfully for the blog…. but to pull comments from FB and put them on the blog too, is not working. (was that just wishful thinking on my part?) ??

    to clarify:

If someone comments on the blog, it will share the comments to fb, but the reverse will not happen ie I share the link to the blog on fb, and those resulting comments do not go to the blog. I am hoping that it will, and maybe I just did not include something correctly… and if it is not happening, then I am hoping it will in the future.

Comments or direction most welcome! Thank you!
