[Plugin: Facebook Comments for WordPress] The application ID does not work on this plugin

I’ve got the same thing. The plugin kind of works, but Facebook isn’t tracking any stats on their end. What’s the deal?

Did the process twice, same error. It seems to work the plugin, but i still have the error message .

i have this issue and comments arent showing, i mean the entire comment section doesnt show ??

that also uses Facebook comments, and there’s had this error:
“Warning: this comments plugin is operating in compatibility mode, but has no posts yet. Consider specifying an explicit ‘href’ as suggested in the comments plugin documentation to take advantage of all plugin features.”

I’m wondering if Facebook doesn’t have some issues with their comments all around, and perhaps there’s a better place to find some help.

I’m getting nothing… I have the App ID set correctly, but the plugin gives me an error saying “invalid App ID.” So… no FB commenting available on my blog. =\

I’m facing same problem as p2kNLsander. Using wp3.3.1 and not using other conflicting plugins as well. Any solution in sight?

I have the same error
ERROR! Invalid application ID. Please double check to make sure it is correct. Note that this is not the same thing as your Facebook user ID

But the plugin still works.

Make sure you have SDK ticked on the bottom of the options screen, esle you will also see a JS error in IE

Also had this problem – checked the ID and secret were correct. What is the alternative plugin – as no responses here.
