[Plugin: Facebook] error msg on post: … caption parameter cannot be longer than 1000 characters

Just installed plugin v1.0.2 on WordPress 3.4.1

First attempt to post to linked page produced error message:

Failed posting to <somename> Timeline. Error: {“message”:”(#100) caption parameter cannot be longer than 1000 characters.”,”type”:”OAuthException”}

Content to be posted was relatively modest, just a few lines of text with a couple of url links.
