• *Requires a user with a Facebook account that is also designated as admin for a Facebook Page

    Steps
    1. Open up another browser tab such that the user has a Facebook profile signed in which meets the above requirements.
    2. Select Account
    3. From the dropdown, select Use Facebook as Page
    4. Select the Switch button for any Page
    5. Open up another browser tab such that a website with the Facebook Like Box widget is shown, and observe that the widget does not display a Like button or list of others who Like this

Bug: The widget is not compatible with Page profiles. Should the user be signed into a profile that is admin over a Facebook Page, and selects to Use Facebook as Page, the widget will not pull data from the linked page’s Likes, and shows only a Facebook logo and link thereto. If the user clicks the link, he or she is given an error message stating “To access this page, you’ll need to switch from using Facebook as your page to using Facebook as yourself.” There is also a button shown which is labelled “Continue as ” followed by the user’s main profile name. Clicking the button shows the plugin, but as viewed from Facebook.com and not from the website which contains the plugin.

Expected Results: The plugin should function with Pages as well as normal profiles. Alternatively, once the user clicks to Use Facebook as him- or herself, he or she should be led back to the website which caused the error now that the problem has been fixed.

NOTE: This issue does not occur if the user is signed out of Facebook completely. It is not known if users who start a Facebook account as a Business user (and thus have no Facebook profile other than their Page) will experience the same issue.

Tested with: Facebook Like Box widget 2.1

Comments: This is not that bad, but definitely worth mentioning; if for no other reason, then to ensure you were made aware.
