[Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] Facebook is not reachable from your server: couldn't connect to

Hi,

I have created the Facebook App and am trying to connect Facebook Page Publish to Facebook, but I am getting the following error:

Facebook is not reachable from your server: couldn’t connect to host
[Error occured at line 499]
Your connection options could not be validated.

I ran a diagnostic and get the following:

There seems to be a problem
Try enabling the compatibility options of the plugin

Have tried selection the “Ignore SSL Certificate” – no luck
Have disabled “Deprecate offline access” in the Facebook App – no luck

Does anyone know what the problem might be? I have installed this plugin on an number of other sites with no errors. However, this website uses a different web host.
