[Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] It is broken

Same problem for me… did Facebook possibly change something today?

It looks like Facebook removed Offline Access from their permissions and that’s why it’s failing. https://developers.facebook.com/roadmap/offline-access-removal/

To fix this, just remove offline_access from the array on line 663 of fpp_index.php https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/facebook-page-publish/trunk/fpp_index.php#L663

It should now look like: $permissions = array(‘share_item’);

whoops, also changes line 594 to
preg_match('/access_token=(.[^&]+).*/', $access_token_url, $matches);

Its been broken on one site for me for a couple days, 2 other sites it still works just fine though. Makes no sense.

I’ve the same problem, when we try to publish a post the plugin returns the following error:

While publishing “the_post_name_blabla” to Facebook, an error occured:

Facebook returned an unexpected error: An unknown error has occurred.
Try to resolve this issue, update the plugin or inform the author about the problem.
[Error occured at line 347]

It’s very weird, the plugin and the Facebook app still works pretty fine with other two facebook pages, but with not with this one.

Any Ideas?

Same here.. issue appeared the last days.

Same problem here, I did the php changes you mentioned yesterday, but ended u with THIS error.

Has anyone tried to make a new facebook app? I might try that tonight to see if it fixes it

Check out my steps that I took. It did not solve anything but it might help us in the right direction.
