[Plugin: Facebook] Post to author timeline authentication

Matt, I can’t seem to find any error log. I found the daily access log but i guess that documents access to my site.

I’m not showing any error log entries on my apache server.

I believe this will fix the open graph publishing issue you’re seeing.

Built-in Action Types require that you provide instructions for using your app’s Open Graph integration as your Open Graph Test User in a functioning test environment. Failure to provide a functioning test environment will result in rejection of your Action Type.

Uninstalled plugin and reinstalled it. Went through the steps and upon post got the following error message.

Failed posting to your Facebook Timeline. Error: {“message”:”Object at URL ‘https://kyaccidentinfo.com/facebook-app-5/’ of type ‘article’ is invalid because it specifies multiple ‘og:url’ values: https://kyaccidentinfo.com/facebook-app-5/, https://kyaccidentinfo.com/facebook-app-5/.”,”type”:”Exception”}

Post actually posted to Facebook Pages. When I tried to submit, I again got the you must post an article first.

@mayhem: Can you post a valid URL for a post on your site?

Also, can you post the URL of the action that’s on your Facebook Timeline?

psychesmartautismtm: can you download remove the plugin, and install a fresh copy?

Again, the post is on my Pages timeline, but when I go to submit it, I get the error message. Am I doing something wrong?

I deleted the plugin from my WordPress and re-installed it by clicking “Add New” from the Plugins page, searched “Facebook” and installed (and activated) it.

Didn’t have to download and manually load it.

I did, here is what i got:
“Publish Actions
You must publish at least one action to your Timeline using this action type. Review the documentation.”

Post URL. I had to do another due to deleting the upteenth one.

https://www.facebook.com/BrutscherLaw is the url for my page that contains the post. I don’t think that I can post the url of the “action” that’s on my timeline without some help.

I’m wondering the same thing as Igloozion. I submitted a “process”, but given the fact I’m going to be the only person submitting to my app (through the WP Facebook plugin), I can’t really give the people in charge of approval a good walkthrough of what exactly to do without creating a dummy account, which I don’t really feel like doing.

I just explained myself and gave a walkthrough of what I’d do to use that action. Guess I’ll see if I get rejected or not.

I deleted the app and the post and the plugin and started all over and again I got the same error message and the I still posted to my site and again got the same problem with submission of app.

I’m at a loss, honestly.

We’re going to change this soon (aiming for tomorrow) so that you shouldn’t need to go through this.
