If you can edit the file, you could try opening the facebook-share-statistics.php in a text editor and then re-saving it as UTF-8.

Unfortunately, changing the encoding to UTF-8 didn’t work. I tried it both in Notepad and an XML editor, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Ok, try changing the line 106 with this:

$sUrl = trim( $l->url );

or (meanwhile) the old 0.7 version:

if it still does not work means that the resolution requires more time…

Excellent Carmine – the development version works! Thanks for helping me out with this one. I’ll definitely keep the plugin on my watchlist.

If I might offer a suggestion for future development: You should add a separate table (or add columns to the existing one) showing statistics from a given period. By default it might show statistics for the last week (or even last day). That way, users could both see the most recent activity and the total activity of readers.
