  • Hi Matt,

When I’m trying to “Link your Facebook account to your WordPress account to enable.” I get the following Error message:

“API Error Code: 191API Error Description: The specified URL is not owned by the applicationError Message: Invalid redirect_uri: Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.”

All of my settings point to https://yeahthatskosher.com

Also receiving this error at the bottom right of my screen (assuming this is for Recommendations):

“Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the Application configuration. It must match one of the Connect or Canvas URLs or domain must be the same as or a subdomain of one of the Application’s base domains.”

I must say, the installation and execution of this plugin has been very challenging, and I work in Social Media.

    Please assist, Matt. Thank you.

Hey Guy. don’t hijack my thread with that 191 API crap. You can start your own thread, with that in the title, so when people search the forums for help, they don’t get the wrong results… Keep it organized.

Can we change the resolved status of this to not resolved until we get this figured out?

I don’t understand how something can be intermittent unless its a connection problem between the Facebook server and the server where I’m hosted?

    not resolved.

I doubt that it is caused by preview an blog post.

Seem that the facebook server may crawl the post content when prevew, but it is unreachable at that time. It have to wait for next crawling for update this status.

I don’t know what you mean superfatman.

The “URL is Unreachable” is already exist when you preview the post. So, I doubt that the facebook crawl the post at first preview and cache the error.

    Hi Matt,

You mentioned to me that “It looks like there’s a bug on our end, but this helps: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Frestoringtruthiness.org%2F14844%2Fpander-and-hope”

and that I should “Just disable the other Facebook plugins that you have and this will work.”

I believe I did that. I search all my plugins for anything that had Facebook in them including my ShareThis plugin and disabled them. I didn’t disable ShareThis, I just disable the Facebook within it.

I now don’t see the “The page at URL could not be reached” when I try to use the Send button (and it seems to send fine now) and I don’t see the “Warning: URL is unreachable” message. However, I’m not seeing the comments from our Facebook Fan page.
