[Plugin: FancyBox for WordPress] loading titles via php in theme

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how to load titles via php in a theme. For example, I am displaying post thumbnails in a gallery-like fashion. The thumbnails link to a larger version thumbnail. When someone clicks on the thumbnail, the image’s title is displayed. Instead, I’d like to display the post’s title. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
