    Hello Mike,
Thank you for a great form plugin, easy to install and implement. Question: I want to use the form for lead generation, therefore it’s important to get a good email address from the visitor. Is there a way to validate the provided email address at submittion time? When the submit button is clicked? Currently the form sends me an email wether the email provided is valid or not. I am not a developer and therefore not familiar with coding. I Know some HTML and CSS. Thanks again. -Luis

  • It does validate the email syntax and the domain mx/dns record when the submit button is clicked. If that validation fails the form shows an message saying the email address is not valid.

Is that sufficient or are you wanting to send them an email and ask them to click to validate? (that is not a feature in the current version)

    Thanks for the quick response.

I noticed it does validate syntax. However, I tested it by inserting random addresses such as “[email protected]” and “[email protected]” and the submittion goes through. However I end up with an invalid email address from the visitor. The ideal way would be to send them an email and ask them to click to validate? Thanks for your hard work and all that you do.

“click to validate” is not a current feature, perhaps in a future update.

    Mike
