[Plugin: Fast Secure Contact Form] Need to move and change order of extra fields

  • Hi everyone. I’m new to WP and know very little about code!

    I’ve added a “Yes I would like to subscribe” checkbox as an extra field in the contact form, however I’d like to change two things. First, I want to move it to the top of the form, so it appears before the standard fields (name, email). Second, the box is appearing above the label. Meaning, the box occupies one line, then the next line says “Yes I would like to subscribe.” I want to put the box after the label, so it is more logical to the viewer.

    Otherwise the form is working fine. I’d just like to tweak these small things to make it perfect; any help (that a newbie would understand) would be really appreciated!

    Luckily that exists! I had the same issue, but the only thing you have to do is find the “backup settings” part at the bottom. Backup your forms, and re-install the plugin on any site you want. Then again you find the “restore settings” part, and upload the backup file. Everything is back the way it was! Very usefull!

    So, can this backup utility be used to rearrange the order of form fields? ??

    I backed up one of my forms, and wow… the output is certainly compressed! Wasn’t sure if there was a documented key/pattern to the syntax without digging through the file.

    No, do not hand edit the backup files, they use serialized data that cannot be edited.
