[Plugin: Featured Categories] Invalid Header

  • Installed plugin on WP 3.2.1, received message “This plugin does has an invalid header.” It also did not appear in the list of plugins.

    More study showed that the plugin unzips an extra “featured-categories” directory:

    Files were here:
    ../wp-content/plugins/featured-categories/featured-categories/

    Files should be here:
    ../wp-content/plugins/featured-categories/

    Once I moved the files the plugin worked fine.
