[Plugin: Featured Post Type] Taxonomy

The plugin works fine, except for the taxonomy aspect. Either specifying a category or a tag taxonomy is intuitive enough in the widget, but instead of displaying a particular post, the plugin displays this message on the website:

Yes, we have no taxonomies, or posts, today.

As a suggestion also, it would be great of the plugin used standard widget structure so that widget styles will translate directly to this widget.
