I just converted my website (https://bramerspace.com) to WordPress this past weekend. I am currently feeding my blogger feeds into this website via your plugin. I have tried several “share” plugins (Digg Digg, Share and Follow, etc.), but none of them seem to post the buttons on the syndicated feeds. After spending the weekend looking and trying different things, I still do not have a resolution. I am sure it is something I have not done correctly with my feed or perhaps it is my theme (Weaver).

My blogger feeds can be published and linked to the WP site. I think at this point I have the permalinks staying on the WP site. I also am not sure about the author set up.

Any help that anyone can provide is much appreciated.

  • I have the exact same problem. I’m using Share and Follow and its share icons as well as tweet and like buttons don’t show up on syndicated posts. I’d really appreciate some help!

I would like to learn how to get Like and Tweet buttons on my FeedWordpress syndicated posts as well, please. If anyone out there has this plugin and can help me (and the people above on this topic) learn how to do the Social buttons on the syndicated posts, please reply to this topic.

Works fine with the “Sociable” plugin.

BUT, I had to hard-code the code needed into the template (single.php for my theme).

This was a problem for us, and we felt really stupid when we figured out what it was. Go into the settings for Syndication, select posts and go down to the Formatting. From there you should choose “Expose syndicated posts to formatting filters.”

The result is every one of the posts will have a share button bar on it.

Wow, unbelievably easy! I guess I should have spent some more time looking at the admin options. THANKS!
