After installing the latest update – version 0.9.21, LIBXML_VERSION: 20706 – Flattr suddenly needs a change in PHP. The dashboard error messages states:

Error: Your PHP installation must support cURL for FlattRSS plugin to work!

Please don’t force WordPress users to change their PHP configuration. That means that for every update you make, we need to pester our sysadmins, or – in my case – our hosting provider.

Thanks for the info. Inserting a flattr button in the wordpress’ rss feed is ONLY possible if cURL is enabled in your PHP installation. This is by design of the Flattr REST API. (Not by me as plugin author)
