Just release version 2.1 – it has an option to open search results in an iframe.

How to get it to work:
    1. Create a blank Page that will server as a placeholder for the search results. Make sure you set wide Template for this page (preferably no sidebars) to fit the iFrame. Any content entered on that page will appear above the iFrame. Save the page.
    2. Go to Settings => flexIDX Plugin and select your newly created page in the “Quick Seaech Results Page” dropdown selection list.
    3 Save the settings.

Now when you use your quick search widget, the results will open on the pre-defined page in an iframe.

    Hope this helps.

Max, thank you. I’ll give it a try. Mike Sampson

I made a custom mod to version 2.0.1 a couple weeks ago to do the same thing. I will try your new release and see how they compare.

@admintiger – yea, I have a “custom” version of the plugin that runs on our company sites and I had something similar implemented for the last year… I see people were asking for this feature, so I decided to go ahead and add it.

Your new iframe feature works as described. You implemented it a little differently than I did, but user functionality is identical. It will be good to not have to patch future releases with my code.
