    Preferably using WP database cache, not via a special cache directory.

    Hi, sorry for the late response.

    Just so it is clear, are you asking for the ability to download the image from flickr and have it served from your own website?

    The reason I haven’t done this yet is that I prefer to use flickr as a CDN to speed things up.

    One thing I am planning to do is to be able to search flickr commons and your own photos to be able to download and attach images from the media library popup.
