[Plugin: Flickr Gallery] Plugin locking up WordPress

  • For the past 12 hours I’ve been having a strange problem. My WordPress site locks up when loading a post which contains flickr-gallery’s photoset code.

    The site loads fine when the plug-in is disabled. I installed a fresh copy of WordPress with the default theme on another server and it did the same thing.

    Further to my previous post. I’ve tried a fresh copy of WordPress, also tried a new API key on Flickr and tried upgrading to WP 2.8 … WordPress is now locking up and the site is not contactable for about 5 mins even when I activate the plug-in now.

    I’m using GoDaddy, and I have about 800 photos on my Flickr account. It was working fine until about 12 hours ago.

    I’ve just tried the plug-in with another hosting company and it worked fine. So the problem is with the plug-in working with GoDaddy. Any ideas on what it could be? I’ve paid GoDaddy for 12 months hosting, so I don’t want to move if possible.

    Does it lock up when you go to the Flickr Gallery settings page?

    Having problem with Lightbox and found possible solution from “Compatibility Issue with 2.8” discussion.
