Hi, I’m getting a strange error message on the header of my site whenever this plugin is enabled:

Warning: Division by zero in /home2/illyamar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/flv-gallery/flvgallery.php on line 173

Warning: Division by zero in /home2/illyamar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/flv-gallery/flvgallery.php on line 174

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Me, too: I get error lines across the tops of all pages that say:

Warning: Division by zero in /home/drno/public_html/hollywoodinhidef.com/wp-content/plugins/flv-gallery/flvgallery.php on line 174 (and line 173)

Here are the offending lines, apparently:

    $num_cols = floor($cw / $tw );
    $horiz_space = $cw % $tw;

Is there any way to use this in the widget sidebar? Thanks.

    Hello

    plugin works well on 2.8.6
    Have same question as jimmylocust
my video is not centered inside the window. it is off to the left side.
    What is the modification

My second question : is it possible to stop player and window (same action as when clic on x.jpg) but when clic outside player?
    thanks.

i like this plugin, but my videos lag when im trying to play it. I have plenty of bandwidth… could I add something to this and put only play when video is x% loaded?

    Marchak, nazzman:

Warning: Division by zero in /home2/illyamar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/flv-gallery/flvgallery.php on line 173

Warning: Division by zero in /home2/illyamar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/flv-gallery/flvgallery.php on line 174

Evidently this error is thrown when there is no thumbnail being called.
Putting a valid thumbnail link and .jpg got rid of the errors for me.
Plugin doesn’t play nice when it’s fields empty.

    Other than that, great plugin.

Is there a way to add bulk videos by FOLDER instead of individual URL’s?

Looks like a really nice plugin. Can’t seem to get it to work though. All I get on the page where I implemented it is a weird flashing void!
I’ve tried reinstalling it several times and even going to your website to get it and upload manually.
I’ve read through the readme file and faq etc and I see no other places I am supposed to do any setting adjustments. Simple set up a carrosel and add .flv videos to the folder where I point to. Sounds simple but doesn’t work.
I am trying to use it on THIS page and so you can see the problem.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

    No one?
I am using Adobe Media Encoder to convert my MPEG vids to flash. I’ve tried several versions of .flv files and I get the same results.
If anyone can pls read my last post and check the page I am getting the error on that would be great.
    Thx

I apologize for the first post I was getting your plugin mixed up with another that I had been testing.
The instructions from the readme are pretty straight forward however I am not being successful getting it to work.
I eliminated the url sections as I don’t need the thumb to link to another page.
The only thing that happens is I get a link for the filename and then it is made available for download.
My paths are correct for the video files and the thumbs but no success. HERE is the link to the page I am attempting to put the galleries into.
Any help getting this great little plugin running would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to get a family site up and running for relatives to come and see some home vids.
    thx for the plugin Russell

I have another weird problem. Everything works fine when on the archives page but not on the ‘single’ post page – it starts downloading the video instead of playing it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

The script doesn’t seems to be registering on the ‘single post page’. Missing links to swfobject.js and jquery.simplemodal.js on this page. Most likely reason to start downloading instead of playing.

    All –
Thanks for your interest in this plugin! I apologize for the lack of response – to be honest, I thought my little plugin had gone into obscurity, so I’m pleasantly surprised by the usage, and I am sorry for the troubles using it.

I’ve traced most of the problems to the Modal CSS property – if the syntax on that isn’t exactly right it completely throws off all of the JavaScript and jQuery, rendering the plugin useless. I have a simple fix that will resolve that issue and also add a few more usability fixes.

As for the ability to use this in a sidebar, that wasn’t really the purpose of this plugin. If you could provide any more detail about that I might be able to figure something out.

Shyam, I was able to re-produce the error you’re seeing on the single post page. I’m not sure why those scripts aren’t being added to the page – I’m using a core WordPress function call, so I’ll have to figure that one out.

I will do my best to post a fix for all of these issues in the next few days.

    All –
I’ve updated the plugin to version 1.2 and addressed several of the issues mentioned in this thread. Please let me know if you continue to have questions or issues using the plugin.

Many thanks. All working fine although I do have an issue still. I have a Flash in the header and the player goes “behind the Flash” – completely in Internet Explorer and partially (about 3/4th of X button only) in Firefox. I have to scroll horizontally to get a full-view of the player. Not sure how to set this right.

It could be a couple of things – can you post a URL to your page and maybe I could look at the page source to help diagnose?
