[Plugin: Folding Category List] Error when called on pages.

    When my sidebar is called on posts with this plugin everything works great but on pages I get the following error:

    Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/tracedef/public_html/wp-content/plugins/folding-category-widget/wp23_folding_cats.php on line 464

    My guess is that folding cats is trying to get the current pages category but ends up with an error since pages don’t have categories… anyone have any ideas?

    Been looking into this one, unable to replicate on any version of WordPress until I tried 2.7 beta and voilà!

    diesel12, please can you confirm your exact version of WordPress, meanwhile I will try and fix for 2.7.

    lonewolf: you nailed it. I have since changed back off of 2.7 because wp 2.7 was giving 404 pages a 200 header message and that meant that google was unable to verify the page in google webmaster tools …. Now i’m back to 2.6 and everything is fine… I totally spaced out on considering the wp version as the source of the issue…. great catch!

    it’s something to do with the version of PHP. the use of “instanceof” is only available for PHP version 5 and above…

    i’ll go back to 0.6.2 then
