[Plugin: Footer-Sitemap] multiple columns

i’m trying to get a Pages-only sitemap that flows over two columns.

have succeeded in commenting out the Archives and Categories listings in the plugin, so that i have only Pages, but i am having trouble hacking the css to create two columns that flow dynamically.

have managed to override the height for div #footersitemap (to 350px) and dl #sitemapfooter-pages but for whatever reason, the definition list won’t flow.

any suggestions? should i create another col-2 div in the html?
