Plugin For a Directory For Counselors?

Hello,

One of our clients whom of which we’ve built a website for, needs a directory put up.

The issue is that the nature of the directory is for employers to check the status of their employee’s certification.

need a page for them to type in a name, and then have their name, and certification level show up.

Most directory plugins seem to be membership/business and/or networking directories. Is there a plugin that could do this for me? it’s a very simple table of data and I’m just looking for a simple search function.

Don’t know much about scripting or programming, which makes this difficult. Any direction could be helpful even if its not a plugin I need.
