• I’m wondering if there’s a plugin out there for easily adding a link to a word in a post title, similar to Dashboards’s built-in pop-up (or whatever) for linking within the post entry itself. Seems like it would be simple enough but I haven’t been able to find one.

  • The post title is the permalink (permanent link) to the post itself. And adding html tags (like <a href=...) in the title filed doesn’t really work.

However, you can make the whole title a link to something else, i.e. pointing somewhere else on the net – search for a plugin called Redirectify.

Sorry. I should have been more clear and provided a link to my site:

I removed the permalinks for the post titles, as I didn’t need or want them. I’m using each post as an entry in a calendar. Right now I’m just adding in “a href=” code to the title to get the part I want linked. That’s not hard, but I’m trying to avoid that kind of coding as I’ll be turning over the site to somene who is pretty code phobic. ??
