Plugin for creating of directory of links?

You have the link manager built into wordpress. If you don’t want the links in the sidebar, then just:
1. Make a new page with a template called Links
2. Put link tag from the sidebar on your new Link page.

For any specific link directory plugin, check out wp-plugins.net and search for link directory.

But what about a plugin that would manage something similar to the project at https://www.phplinkdirectory.com or something of that nature? to be able to provide a larger directory of links that was organized in a better manner..

I agree that a plugin based off of phplinkdirectory.com would be very useful!! I’m using “Links Page” from https://www.asymptomatic.net/wp-hacks right now. It works well, but I wish it had support for sub-categories so a true directory could be managed!

Wouldn’t it be possible to use ultimate tag warrior (UTW) to achieve a directory?

Tag union could be achieved using:

https://mydomain.com/index.php?tag=usa+texas+houston

This would then retrieve all posts tagged with usa, texas, and houston.

The possibilities for using wordpress and UTW as a directory seem apparent. However, no one seems to have done it… An opportunity?
