Hey guys I am working on a website for a customer with a restaurant business for 10 locations. I would like a plugin to work with woocommerce that accomplishes two things

    1. when a customer visits the website they select a location (one of the 10 restaurant locations).

    2. the selected location is then used as the location for when ordering products so when the order goes out it goes to that specific location.

    Need help ASAP
    Thanks much in advanced

  • Hi!

To check I understand correctly, are you wanting the customers to order food, the order is emailed to one of the ten restaurants and then will be picked up by the customer at the chosen restaurant?

I think Local Pickup Plus could work well for you here – it is packed with features like geolocating the nearest location to the customer, and sending notification emails to the location selected.

This works on the basis that the customer will select the restaurant in the checkout, rather than at the beginning of their visit to the site. However, this is a good fit otherwise.

You could look at Restaurant for WooCommerce too for some other relevant features.

Feel free to give these a try – we have a 30-day refund policy.

If the product doesn’t work the way you need or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to offer a full refund. You can read more about our refund policy on our website here: https://woocommerce.com/refund-policy/

Hey thanks for the reply and the info.

But what I am looking for is a solution that when the customer reaches the homepage He selects the store, Eg. New York Store, Florida Store, Miami Store. After He selects the store the order goes to that specific store. that way I can have one website but with 10 stores delivery or pick enabled

    Hi!

It may be possible with Local Pickup Plus and some custom code, to have the user select the location on arrival at the website, which then pre-fills that field at checkout. You could try approaching one of the developers on our WooCommerce Customizations Page? You could also try the #developers channel of our Community Slack – https://woocommerce.com/community-slack/

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
