Plugin for user profile photo that can be updated by front end user

I am working to build profile pages for certain members of my site. I am making the profile using a custom sidebar to display the profile picture and the menu but i cant figure out how to get the picture in the sidebar to change based on which user profile is being displayed. Is it possible to make a profile work with this setup, or would it be easier to make the entire profile in one page? Is there a widget that will display user profile pictures, and allow the owner of the profile to update their picture?
