[plugin fotobook] Can’t get albums

Have to leave this for a while, while there’s a solution found to this

I believe this is from some recent changes to Facebook’s API. My computer is currently being repaired so the fix will be a week or so. Sorry for the inconvenience. Accounts that were working previous to the change, about a week ago, should still work.

Not sure if this is a Fotobook problem…

Facebook’s own iPhoto exporter also does not find the galleries/albums now. I think they changed the API very recently, but no one seems to understand what the implications are (even Facebook, obviously!).

Basically, Facebook has changed their API and you have to request specific permissions to access user data, whereas before all permissions were granted by default. There is a bug which prevents this change from being made easily.

In the meantime, login to your Facebook account and click the following URL to enable to permissions for Fotobook:

This isn’t working anymore. I still get the “success” message when I click Aaron’s link but when I go back to import new albums I get the dreaded import error others have been posting about.

Please help. I do not want to code these new albums by hand.
