    Nothing? Broken permanently?

This is still broken, however, I have some additional insight for the developer, that I hope will be useful in accelerating a fix for the problem:

First, the problem is that every so often the plug-in displays nothing at all (and in fact seems to have a negative effect on other items on the page). After several weeks and months of debugging and watching this, I finally concluded that there are no plug-in conflicts that directly cause this, and the problem is broke intermittent and directly related only to this plug-in.

The good news is, all I need to do is go to the set up for the Foursquare API plug-in, and refresh the caches. After I do this, the plug-in displays correctly, and without any ill effects elsewhere on the page.

For the developer: you could see my use of the plug-in on the bottom of this page:
    https://metapreneurship.net/social-graph/

Note that I use both the “badges” display, and the “check-in’s” display on the same page… the “badges” display never seems to have a problem, while the check-in’s display very frequently displays a blank box with absolutely no information. Furthermore, when this glitch occurs, it prevents or stifles the display of other information on the page. (When the foursquare API box for “check-in” is working, then there is another box adjacent to it that displays a “FeedJit” widget website visitor information it. When the foursquare API for “check-in’s” is malfunctioning, and any other box on the screen following the plug-in never appear.

When I go and refresh the cache, manually, for the foursquare API plug-in… then the page, and all of the widgets on the page appear correctly.

incidentally, here is a short code that I’m using:
    foursquare_venues type=checkins width=330 map_height=300 map_zoom=9 timestamp=1 address=1 stats=1 limit=6 list=0 autoscroll=1600 id=44

But I have also in the process of debugging used every other permutation of parameters, including the very basic
    foursquare_venues type=checkins

Nothing seems to have an effect, except for going in and manually refreshing the cache. And, there seems to be nothing I can do to change the cache parameters to improve the situation (e.g. “never” versus one minute etc.)

I hope the developer of this plug-in gets its information, and finds it useful enough to fix a problem.

    Thanks!
