[Plugin: Front-end Editor] Text area become very narrow

Try version 1.7.1.

Tried upgrading to 1.7.1

Still same problem, the text area width is very narrow, squeezing my text.

It’s not the theme, i used WP default theme also same problem.
Please help.

I’m afraid I won’t be able to help unless I see for myself. This means you would have to make an admin user for me, on your site.

I’m experiencing the same thing (using the Twenty Ten theme on trunk). I’ll try to catch you on IRC this week and PM you a login to a test site.

I’m using the last development version and I get the same problem… the width of the editor is 179px

I’ve also noticed in the development version that the Font-type is written as Font-family

Hmm it works fine now??/ maybe it was my theme or sumfing? but it’s very hard to then select the image and apply an alignment to it

same problem for me… area VERY narrow with Internet explorer 8, ok with chrome.

tried 1.7.1 and 1.8a, same problem

Yup, IE8 is making mine narrow too.

Ok, I’ll do some testing with IE8 when I have the time.

Hey Scribu, I’ve got the same problem with Safari. I’ve also tried it with various themes including the default. Can give you admin access if you want.

This should be fixed in the development version (1.8a2).
