  • Sorry, but I do not have the answer – only to say I have the exact same problem, plus it also ignores the opacity (50%) of the comments bar.

    Surely we can’t be the only people to have this problem with the most widely used browser.

    I have solved my problem of missing buttons.

    Had changed the default proportions of image to buttons (80% & 20%) to 75% and 25%. IE did not like this so I just made it 74%. There is a small gap but at least it now works.

    I hope this helps.

    Still shows the comments opacity as 100% though when I specify 50%.

    be careful of side effetcs caused by other css rules and cascades that can modify the aspect of the slider elements.

    You can use the WebdeveloperToolbar extension for Firefox and use the CSS > View css for a particular element (of Ctrl+Shift+Y) and examine the various element’s css.
