[Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] IE 8 Issues

  • This plugin is great! I really like it! It works perfectly on all browsers, except of course IE.

    After adding:
    <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=8″ />

    I managed to get the buttons to display, but I still cannot see the images on IE. All other browsers look great.

    I am using the latest version of Frontpage-Slideshow (0.9.7)

    Any suggestions?

    Forgot to add: 4929

    no time to verify right now but you probably need to put all Ies hacks onto a specific css file and add it conditionally

    Can you point me in the right direction? Not sure exactly what I would put into a separate IE CSS file.

    all non absolutely non standard things (like * selector and, globaly all things that makes the theme woring fine on standard browsers AND IE)
