[Plugin: Gallery Shortcode Style to Head] not functioning

the plugin installs, activates.. and the settings are in the correct place, but they seem to have no effect. css appears just before the gallery output without modification.
maybe due to changes in recent update of Workpress?https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/gallery-shortcode-style-to-head/
